What this notice covers
This notice concerns visiting the Omnetic marketing website and requesting a demo, security documentation or an integration. Personal data entered into the Omnetic software by its customers is covered by the separate arrangements for that service.
Requesting a demo
The demo form collects your name, company, work email, organisation type and market, together with the role, locations, business volume, systems, priorities, products and timing information you provide. Your telephone number is optional. We use these details to prepare the demo and communicate about your request.
Submitting a demo request does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Fields marked as required must be completed to submit the form. Please do not include your customers' personal data, identity documents or other information unrelated to your request.
Requesting security documents
The document request form collects your company and work email together with the document you select. These details are used to handle your request and communicate with you about the requested documentation.
Requesting an integration
The integration form collects the name of the system or partner, a description of the intended data flow and your work email. These details are used to understand the integration request and contact you about it.
Purposes, legal bases and required information
We process a demo request to take steps at your request before a possible contract where you are the prospective contracting party. Where you contact us on behalf of a business, and for security-document and integration requests, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to relevant business enquiries, evaluating a possible cooperation and protecting the website. Those interests do not override your rights and you may object where the GDPR permits it.
The fields marked as required are necessary to identify, route and answer the selected request. Without them, the form cannot be submitted. A telephone number and any other field marked optional may be omitted. The acknowledgement beside the demo form confirms that you have read the first-layer information; it is not used as consent for unrelated marketing. Sending a request does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
We use the IP address accompanying a request for short-lived abuse prevention and, where configured, Google reCAPTCHA v3 to assess whether a request is likely to be automated. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the forms available and secure. A failed assessment can block the form, but it does not produce a decision with legal or similarly significant effects. You can instead contact the relevant team directly by email.
The strictly necessary browser record that remembers your cookie choices is used to respect and retain your selection. The current website does not connect analytics or advertising tools to those optional settings.
Sending your request to the team
The website sends the form details through Mandrill for transactional email delivery. Demo and integration requests are addressed to sales@omnetic.com; security document requests are addressed to security@omnetic.com. Email-open and link-click tracking are disabled in this delivery request.
Recipients, service providers and international transfers
Demo and integration requests are made available to authorised Omnetic sales personnel; security-document requests are made available to authorised security personnel. The website uses Mandrill, a Mailchimp service, to deliver those transactional emails, and infrastructure and security providers may process the technical data needed to operate and protect the website. Google processes browser and request data when reCAPTCHA is enabled.
Mailchimp states in its Data Processing Addendum that it acts as a processor for customer data and may process data in the United States and other countries, using the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses where required. Google may also process data outside the EEA under the safeguards described in its privacy documentation. You can request information about the safeguards or an available copy through the privacy contact above.
Protecting forms
Where enabled, Google reCAPTCHA v3 loads when a request form appears, before submission, and connects your browser to Google, including transmission of your IP address. Its verification result is used to assess the request; a failed verification can prevent submission. reCAPTCHA operates independently of the analytics and marketing preferences.
The website also uses IP address information accompanying the request to limit repeated requests. Google states that reCAPTCHA sets the _GRECAPTCHA cookie for risk analysis. Changing the website's optional preferences does not disable reCAPTCHA or erase information already sent to Google.
Browser preferences and fonts
When you save a cookie choice, your browser stores omnetic.cookie-preferences.v1 in localStorage, containing the analytics and marketing choices and their save time (savedAt). The website recognises the choice for 180 days; the old record is not automatically deleted when this period ends. A new choice replaces it, or you can remove it in your browser's site-data settings. You can revisit the choice through the cookie settings.
The preference record itself is not sent to our server. This website application does not currently load analytics or advertising tools through these settings. Its font files are served from this website, rather than requested from Google Fonts by the page.
Retention criteria
We keep enquiry information while the request is being handled and while a relevant follow-up can reasonably be expected. We then delete or anonymise it unless it has become part of a customer relationship, a legal obligation requires further retention, or it is still necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. In those cases, the applicable customer, statutory or claims-related period determines retention. Provider-side technical records are retained under the relevant service terms and our configured account settings.
The in-process IP rate-limit bucket lasts 60 seconds. A saved cookie choice is recognised by this website for 180 days; the browser record is replaced when you save a new choice and can be removed at any time through your browser's site-data controls. The expiry of recognition does not itself physically delete the old browser record.
Your data-protection rights
You may request access to your personal data and correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. You may request erasure or restriction where the legal conditions are met. Where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract, the right to data portability may apply.
Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your situation; an objection to direct marketing does not require such grounds. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Not every right applies to every processing operation.
Responses and complaints
Requests to exercise your rights must be answered without undue delay and normally within one month of receipt. The period may be extended by up to two further months where necessary because of the complexity or number of requests; you must be told about the extension and its reasons within the first month. Additional identity information may be requested where there are reasonable doubts about who is making the request.
You may complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, your workplace or the alleged infringement. You are not restricted to the Czech authority.
