Everything on one graphic view
Rentals and reservations displayed graphically, so the state of a fleet is readable at a glance rather than reconstructed from a list.
Rental
Reservations, fleet upkeep and invoicing on one graphic calendar, for a rental company, a workshop running courtesy cars, or a dealership that hires out occasionally.

The fleet calendar for one working week: four vehicles down the side, Monday to Friday across the top, each day hired, reserved, due for a service inspection or available, and Wednesday flagged for the request the fleet could not honour, the third refusal this month. Sample data, not a fleet's calendar.
The problem
A wall planner tells you what is booked. It never tells you how many customers you turned away, which is the only number that says whether to buy another car. The system records the request it could not honour, alerts you to the shortage, and reports capacity use alongside it, so fleet decisions rest on demand rather than instinct.
Rentals and reservations displayed graphically, so the state of a fleet is readable at a glance rather than reconstructed from a list.
Built for professional rental companies and repair shops, but equally for a dealership that hires out occasionally or simply tracks replacement cars.
One system for a two-day hire and a two-year contract, automating the routine tasks in both.
The workflow
Five stages of a hire. Select one to see what enters, what Omnetic does, and what comes out.
Reservations, reservation contracts and pro forma invoices come from the same calendar the fleet lives on, priced from your list for that vehicle type and duration.
If nothing suitable is free, the refusal is recorded rather than forgotten.
The handover captures the vehicle's condition, its mileage and anything hired with it, GPS, a child seat, so both sides know what left the yard.
CarAudit does the condition record, which is why a damage charge later is a photograph rather than an argument.
Kilometres travelled come from the journey log, and new damage is whatever the return inspection finds that the handover did not.
Penalties are recorded against the customer, so a repeat offender is visible before the next booking rather than after it.
Invoices and documents are created from the contract and put on record, and connect to your customer database and to payment and accounting systems as a matter of course.
Every cost the vehicle carries, warranty inspections and repairs of all kinds, sits on the same record, so a car's real profitability is knowable.
The analyses cover reserved and refused vehicles, the number of cars hired and capacity use as a percentage, and because the modules are interconnected, all of it feeds extensive reporting.
A list of vehicles due for warranty inspection sits alongside it, so upkeep does not collide with a booking.
Capabilities
All eight from the current product, kept whole.
Every cost a car carries, including warranty inspections and repairs of all kinds.
Kilometres travelled in a specific car, recorded rather than estimated.
A list of vehicles requiring warranty inspections, before they clash with a hire.
A database of every customer, with records of penalties.
Reservations, reservation contracts, pro forma invoices and documents.
Other equipment hired out, GPS, child seats, tracked on the contract.
Prices per vehicle type and per duration, applied automatically.
Add, edit or remove current reservations, with utilisation visible as you do.
By role
Answers “do you have a combi on Wednesday?” from one screen, and records the answer when it is no.
Allocates a courtesy car against real availability instead of hoping one comes back in time.
Buys the vehicle type that was actually refused, and keeps inspections off busy days.
Sees revenue and cost per unit, so a hire fleet is a business line rather than a favour to customers.
Platform & data connections
Handover and return condition, evidenced both ways.
Inspections and repairs planned around bookings, not against them.
One customer database, and invoices posted from the hire itself.
Utilisation and refusals in the same reporting as the rest of the business.
System relationship
CarAudit evidences the condition at handover and return, Workshop and Planner keep inspections and repairs off booked days, CRM and Accounting give the hire one customer database and post its invoices, and Reporting puts utilisation and refusals beside the rest of the business.
Outcome & proof
The system records demand the fleet could not serve, together with the reason.
Reservations, hires, service and free vehicles share one calendar.
Capacity is read beside fulfilled and unmet demand; no benchmark is claimed without data.
Channels, payments and local contracts are confirmed for the deployment.
