Company

We have been writing dealer software since before the internet reached the showroom.

Omnetic began in 1991 as AutoSoft, the first dealership management software in the Czech Republic. Thirty-five years later the job has not changed: a dealer still needs to know what a car cost, what it is worth and who is waiting for it. What changed is that the answer now has to arrive in seconds, in nine countries, on a phone.

What we actually build
One operating system for the vehicle: buying, pricing, preparing, servicing, financing, insuring, selling and accounting for it, in one ledger instead of nine spreadsheets.
The principle
Not a CRM with modules bolted on.
What you get
A view of the platform, its people and the operating model behind it.

Product history

Four products, one after another, each because the last one was not enough

This timeline is a product history. Funding rounds and company renamings belong in corporate news.

  1. 1991–2009

    AutoSoft: the paperwork

A DMS for franchised dealers in one market: invoices, stock cards and service orders without repeated retyping.

  2. 2010–2018

    Used cars become the margin

As new-car margin thinned, pricing, sourcing and stock ageing became products, including Price Report and Sourcing.

  3. 2019–2023

    Cross-border, then Omnetic

Buying in one country to sell in another turned transport, VAT and homologation into software and local legal problems.

  4. 2024, now

    BRAIN™ and the open platform

Modules share one data model; APIs and integrations keep working accounting or classified systems in place.

Nine offices, because a market is a legal system before it is a language

VAT treatment, registration, signature validity and consumer law differ in every one of them. Each office has a named local contact on the contact page.

The source also identifies these as the principal sourcing markets for cross-border stock.

South-East Europe

Bucharest

The newest listed office; the source explicitly says module availability differs here.

How we operate

Four decisions a dealer would notice if we stopped honouring them

These are not culture adjectives. The source frames them as commitments that must remain traceable to the contract, methodology and implementation scope.

01

Your data leaves when you do

A full export in a documented format, with no exit fee or hostage window; the contract remains controlling.

02

No number without a method

A published result names its cohort, baseline and window. Without them, the claim is withdrawn.

03

Implementation is staff, not licence

Migration is delivered by people experienced in the market and ledger; its separate price must be stated up front.

04

Open at the seams

A documented API and integrations should not force a dealer to abandon a system that already works.

Next conversation

Careers, partnerships or an initial product conversation

The source does not include verified destinations or a live role feed for these paths. This route therefore preserves the content without pretending the links are operational.

Working on software people cannot avoid using

A DMS is open eight hours a day. Roles belong to a live ATS feed; no vacancy is invented here.

Integrators, OEMs and technology partners

For accounting, classifieds, financing and logistics, the source points to the API and partner programme.

A conversation using your own operating data

Bring a stock list and the decision you need to make. The request form and calendar still require separate operational wiring.

Start with one concrete operating decision

Bring the market, current systems and the decision you need to make. We do not pretend an unverified form or calendar is connected.
